Privacy Policy
How Wedding App Planner handles wedding plans, guests, budgets, collaboration, AI requests, vendor searches and purchases.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to Wedding App Planner, developed and published by Sedat Ateş. It describes the information used to plan a wedding and collaborate with the people you invite.
1. Accounts and wedding information
Authentication and cloud data are provided through Supabase. Sign in with Apple or Google can provide an identifier, email and profile information according to your choices. Wedding records can include partner names, dates, location or venue details, budget and currency, preferences, tasks, expenses, suppliers, calendar events and seating plans. Guest records can include names, email addresses, telephone numbers and other details you enter. These records are stored in the cloud under the relevant account and wedding permissions and may be cached locally.
2. Guests, contacts and collaboration
Contact import is optional and requires device permission. The app reads contact information to let you select guests; the guest records you choose to save become part of the wedding's cloud data. Provide other people's information only when you have an appropriate basis to do so. Wedding members you authorize can access shared planning information according to their role. If you export or share a guest list, seating plan or other report, the recipient you choose receives the included information.
3. Google Gemini and AI planning
When you request an AI wedding plan or task suggestions, the app sends the wedding context and questionnaire through a Supabase backend function to Google Gemini. This can include partner names, wedding date, budget, currency, wedding type, planning preferences, language, time zone, your request and existing task titles. Generated suggestions are returned for your use and may be saved with the wedding plan. Do not include unnecessary sensitive data or confidential information about guests in AI requests. Google processes requests under the terms applicable to its AI service; this policy does not promise anonymous processing or zero provider retention.
4. Vendor searches and device features
Venue or vendor search uses Google Places and backend search services. The selected search terms, city or area and any location supplied for a search can be processed to return results. Location access, contacts, notifications and calendar access are subject to the device permissions requested for the feature. You can decline or revoke optional permissions in device settings. External supplier websites and other recipients have their own privacy practices.
5. Reminders and purchases
OneSignal processes user identifiers, push tokens, device/subscription information and notification delivery or interaction records to provide reminders and messages; scheduled messages may include planning content. Local reminders are scheduled on your device. Apple handles App Store payments, and RevenueCat processes your app user identifier, purchases, entitlement status and basic device/app information to manage premium access and restore purchases. We do not receive payment card details. 6. Purposes, security and retention
We use this information to authenticate you, maintain and share plans, generate requested suggestions, provide searches and reminders, manage purchases, respond to support and meet legal obligations. Applicable legal bases may include providing the requested service, consent where required, legitimate interests in security and support, and legal duties. We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls, but no system is completely secure. Cloud records remain while needed for these functions; backups, provider logs and purchase records may have separate retention requirements. Providers may process information outside your country. We may disclose information where required by law or needed to address abuse or security incidents.
7. Your choices and rights
You can edit or remove supported wedding records, manage shared access and use the in-app account deletion option. Copies you shared with other people may remain with them. Deleting the app alone does not delete cloud records or cancel subscriptions. Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restrictions on processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority.
8. Children, contact and changes
Wedding App Planner is not specifically directed to children under 13. For privacy requests, support or concerns about children's data, contact Sedat Ateş at sedatates.dev@gmail.com. We may update this policy when features or providers change; the date above identifies the latest revision.
