Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Shikaku: Rectangle Puzzle, a rectangle-based logic puzzle game developed and published by Sedat Ateş. It describes information processed through this app, rather than through any of our other apps.

1. Game data and accounts

Shikaku does not require an account or ask you to provide your name, email address or phone number to play. Puzzle progress, completed puzzles, best times, daily streaks and game preferences are stored locally on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data can remove these records.

2. Advertising

Shikaku uses Google AdMob and Google consent services to display and measure ads. Google and its partners may process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, device and app information, approximate location inferred from network information, ad impressions, clicks and diagnostics. These support advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Personalized advertising and tracking depend on applicable consent requirements and your choices. We do not request precise GPS location to provide puzzles.

3. Analytics

Google Analytics for Firebase processes app-instance identifiers, device and app information and events such as app sessions, screen views and puzzle interactions. We use this information to understand usage and improve the game. Technical identifiers can be personal data even when they do not contain your name.

4. Notifications

Shikaku uses OneSignal for push notifications. OneSignal may process push tokens, device or subscription identifiers, IP addresses, device and app information, language, time zone and notification interactions. Notification permission controls whether notifications may be displayed; it does not necessarily disable every technical operation of the SDK. You can turn notifications off in device settings.

5. Choices and service providers

Where offered, use the app's advertising privacy options to review your Google consent choices. On iOS, you can deny or change tracking permission in Settings. 6. Use, sharing and retention

Information is processed to run the game, deliver ads and notifications, measure usage, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. Local progress remains until you reset or remove it; providers retain technical records according to their service requirements and policies. Uninstalling does not automatically erase records already held by providers. Providers may process data outside your country.

7. Security, children and privacy requests

We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission is completely secure. Shikaku is not specifically directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need a technical identifier to locate provider-held records because there is no player account.
